My Philosophy

All products are a function of design and efficiency. The goal of a product is to achieve an endpoint.  A product can be considered complete when the product can achieve a prespecified endpoint and deliver utility to the user.  There are multiple path to reach any endpoint.  The path to an endpoint is the design.  Each step on a path presents its own challenge and thus creates opportunity for efficiency.  Optimizing design and efficiency results in maximized utility.  

The path holds a higher value than the steps.  Thus the design is most important in obtaining utility.  Efficiency is secondary.  Once design is in place then efficiency at each step becomes critical.  Invention can simplify design and destroy efficiency.
